-- INTELLIGENT: Tempest is, considering her job, a highly intelligent young woman. Since she was a small child, her love for learning could really only be described as... well, the average child's love for candy. But of course, if you go out of your way to call this woman a nerd, she'll give you plenty of backlash. Unlike your average smarty that always has their nose to a book and is easily picked on, Tempest is nothing like that. She's about as vicious in personality as they come, and won't hesitate to shoot down anyone that bullies or annoys her. Oh and... of course, she'll give the occasional uppercut for those that are... "special cases" in her words.
-- DOUBTFUL: While her headstrong personality is unique, Tempest really doesn't consider herself to be anything special. Her doubts almost all lay within herself and her own abilities and views. As strong as she portrays herself to be, on the inside, she's a bit of an emotional wreck, always struggling with logic versus how she actually feels about things. The truth is, she easily trusts others, and can quickly be broken down and picked apart, though she will be weary at first, especially with matters concerning significant others.
-- COMMITTED: That said, Tempest will commit to a friend or lover like no one else. She will... grudgingly... go out of her way to help people out. While she gives off the attitude that she could care less, she worries easily, and in truth actually just wants to make the world better for people, which is her main motivation behind being a spy, as she thinks pirates are only hindering the world. Tempest is probably the most dedicated worker you'll ever meet... ever.... in history. She'd almost always rather be out on the job than out with friends... or even sleeping, though she loves doing the later when she gets the chance

History: Tempest's life is an interesting one to say the least... right from the moment she was born, she was destined for something great... or, at least that was what her parents had hoped for her. You see, she was not actually born in Sinnoh, but at sea, to pirates; Grace and Timothy however, knew that no child could survive the life of a pirate. Solemnly, they delivered their dearest Tempest to a rich family in the heart of Sinnoh. They knew her life would be wondrous from then on out, -- but just in case, they didn't leave her without a reminder of who they were: before bringing her to the rich family in Sinnoh, they tattooed a scripture into her back, telling of where a vast sum of treasures they had collected over the years was hidden. It would be her right to claim them, should she wish to.
Of course, things never turn out quite as planned. Tempest grew up normally, unaware of her origins until one day, a crew of pirates raided her town. Fearful for their own lives, her "parents" offered Tempest as a prize to the captain, David as he was called, explaining who her parents were and what secrets her skin held. Of course, David was quick to jump on the opportunity -- and so began Tempe's life as a pirate. She was determined to be part of the crew if she was going to be stuck in this new life. Besides, David seemed nice enough -- he'd promised to help her find her real parents.
And that was just it, they were promises, but empty ones. So many of them were made -- enough for Tempe to fall for the Captain -- and none of them kept. When they finally found the treasures her family had hidden, David left her for dead, claiming to have never loved her, to have only used her for this moment - the moment where he would get rich. Brokenhearted and bitter, Tempest made her way back to where she started with a heavy heart. Back to her "parents" anyway. Oddly enough, she didn't have enough room in her to hate them for selling her out to save themselves. All of the extra space in her was now taken up with hatred - pure hatred for the damned people that had subjected her to this... filthy pirates.
Her adopted father had connections to the military, and this was Tempe's opportunity to get in on the inside. She explained her experience with pirates, and they quickly trained her to be a spy. After all, what better way to trick a pirate crew then to send one of their own at them to tear them apart from the inside? After a few successful test runs where she lead minor crews into the arms of the military, Tempest was awarded a Chatot, which she lovingly called Jester. Together, they roam the seven seas disguised as pirates, waiting for the opportune moment to strike.

Reason For Joining: Why did I join? Simple really. I've been used by pirates, and I hate the bastards. I know the ropes of being a pirate, and can sneak in and kill em from the inside. The job suits me perfect, and I get self-satisfaction out of it. Need I say more?
