"Shhhh, she should be around here soon."
The female warned her Skarmory from their perch in a large, leafy tree. This had become a game for Juliette and her Pokemon; there was this one girl who always came around this area, and she was certainly the easiest person to steal from. This girl didn't seem to talk, so she barely made a fuss when Juliette came around to steal some of her stuff. It was great, because it was really easy pickings for the pirate. Although, these days it was starting to get boring, because this girl hardly seemed to have a backbone. She could do with a good lesson or two about how to defend yourself.
Nonetheless, the redhead waited patiently in the tree, breathing quietly. The branch sagged slightly under the weight of her, but it was mostly the steel bird's fault. The branch was strong enough to hold them up though, so they could plan the surprise attack. Juliette hadn't tried ambushing the female this way, so this plan was bound to catch that messenger off guard!
With the female and the Skarmory was the newly acquired Meowth, who simply sat on the branch and cleaned herself gingerly. She didn't have a care in the world about what the other two were planning; all she cared about was that her fur was nice and clean. The licking noises she was making was starting to irritate her master though.
"Shhh, Calista! You can clean yourself as much as you want after we rob that girl!"
Juliette exclaimed in a sharp but hushed tone as she placed a hand over the Meowth's mouth. Her new Pokemon couldn't mess up this opportunity, so that innocent citizen really needed to hurry up...

The sky was nice and cloudy, preventing the harsh rays of sun from burning Sagirah's skin, the Taillow were singing beautiful songs, and the client paid her handsomely in gold! "Father will be pleased with this!" Sagirah grinned at the Abra on her shoulder, who nodded slowly in agreement. Personally, Rafiq thought it was a shame that Sagirah was being manipulated by her own flesh and blood, all for just a little more money. Pathetic.
"Abra Abra? Ab Abra Abra...Abra Abra Ab!" The Abra wondered aloud. Sagirah frowned at this. Her dearest psychic friend did have a point - usually they were robbed by now by this red-headed pirate. She almost felt - dare she say it - concern that Juliette wasn't here. Did something happen to her? Did Juliette fall ill? If that were the case, Sagirah had to help her out! Her face was so familiar to the albino, it was as if they were friends already. If by friend you meant someone who casually borrowed your life earnings without permission, but with every intention of bringing those gold coins back.
Sagirah began searching for Juliette in the area, thrusting her face triumphantly behind a building - only to find the area completely abandoned. Eventually, she summoned the courage to mouth "Have you seen a girl this tall with red hair?" to passerby, gesticulating her silent words without any success. Sighing, Sagirah plopped down underneath a tree, leaning her back against its trunk. It was ironic that she chose this tree to sit in, for it was the very same one that Juliette and her henchmon were hiding in. "Abra Abra, Abra Ab Abra." Rafiq consoled the worried albino, patting his claw against her back. Eventually she would turn up and steal her belongings, and everything would be right as rain again!

Finally, the messenger had arrived, making Juliette a bit excited. Her Abra was perched on her shoulder; that Pokemon never bothered her. The Psychic Pokemon couldn't beat both her Pokemon, so there was no concern there. What was even better was that they were moving towards the tree, and even sitting under it, oblivious to Juliette and her Pokemon above. The redhead almost couldn't contain her laughter; this was going so perfectly! However, this perfect plan was about to be spoiled.
Calista was watching the female and her Abra as well now, and she leaned forward a bit to get a better look. However, her balance was lost, and the Meowth went tumbling down. A horrible shriek was emitted by the Pokemon as she fell, and Juliette almost screamed herself.
"Ah, Fu-"
Fortunately, Calista had landed gently on her feet without any injury. The only problem now was that she was standing right before the female and her Abra. Blinking a couple times, the Meowth stood on all fours before them, frozen in her spot. Juliette hadn't had the Meowth the last time she encountered the messenger, so there was no way she could know that the Pokemon belonged to the pirate; unless they looked up, of course. Juliette and her Skarmory remained still and quiet, waiting to see what the girl would do with Calista now standing before them.
If that girl tried to do anything to her Meowth, Juliette would definitely have to take more of the girl's money. Usually when she stole from the citizen, she only took a cut of it, so the girl could stand a chance in the world. Besides, the girl kept paying up everytime they met, so she deserved a little bit of money anyways. All this stealing without a fight was starting to get boring though; maybe Juliette shoudl teach her a thing or two about defending herself? The messenger certainly needed it, because at this rate, she would be owing the pirate a cut of her money for the rest of her life!

Thankfully, the female feline managed to land safely on the ground, without getting hurt. Sagirah and Rafiq both stared at Calista with curiosity - yet the albino trainer's gaze also held concern. Pale white hands dug into her satchel, producing a slightly squashed yet still firm and juicy Oran Berry. Not wishing to startle the Meowth, Sagirah placed the berry a fair distance away from her and within the Meowth's reach.
"Where did she come from? Do you think she has an owner?" Sagirah wondered, staring at her Abra. "Abra Abra Abra...Abra Abra, Ab Abra!" Rafiq began cautiously, looking up at the tree's branches. His calm tone soon became one of panic as he saw a menacing-looking Skarmory...With a red-headed human female. Oh, curses! Juliette was still here! And they were going to steal their stuff again, weren't they! Oh, if only he were an Alakazam, or even a Kadabra, so that he could adequately protect his mistress from these vile Pokemon.
Sagirah, however, was oddly happy at this turn of events. "Oh, thank goodness you are alright!" The nineteen year old beamed as she mouthed the words, waving cheerfully up at the two. So the Meowth must've been a new friend of theirs! It would explain why she carelessly lost balance and ruined their cover operation. A proverbial candlelight went off in her mind as she remembered the gold Juliette undoubtedly wanted from her. Slim, nimble fingers dug into her satchel and, after counting off the money, set out one tenth of it into a separate drawstring bag. She then brandished said bag, waving it back and forth like a banner to show Juliette that her toll was to be paid. "Abra..." Rafiq grumbled in disgust, feeling resentment over how everyone seemed to be walking all over them.

The Meowth didn't move until the berry was presented, and when it was, she carefully reached for it. This girl seemed nice enough; she didn't appear to be one of those people who sent their Pokemon after anything that dared to move. Once Calista took a bite from the berry and determined that it was safe and delicious, she smiled up at the quiet girl. Well, maybe falling out of that tree wasn't so bad! However, that's not what Juliette thought about the situation.
Juliette's eyes narrowed when the female and her Abra looked up, easily spotting her and her Skarmory. They were so close to sneaking up on them; it was a shame. Nonetheless, it didn't matter, since they couldn't beat her anyways. With a huff, Juliette dropped down from the tree branch, landing behind the Meowth. Aquila shortly followed, gliding down and taking his spot beside his master.
"Well, this didn't go as planned..."
The redhead admitted, crossing her arms with annoyance. She wouldn't punish her Meowth for such a thing though; mistakes happened, and it wasn't going to stop her from stealing from the messenger anyways. Why was the girl happy to see them anyways? Juliette noticed her cheery look as she waved up at them. Weird.
The gold was presented, and the pirate smirked a bit. Ah yes, what she came here for. Juliette reached over to grab the gold, but just before she wrapped her fingers around it, she froze. This was no fun; this was easier than taking candy from a baby.
"No, wait... Can't you do anything to defend yourself? I mean, everytime all you do is flail around and don't even put up a fight."
Juliette commented, straightening herself and raising an eyebrow. This was the girl's opportunity to try something to stop the redhead from taking her money for once; Juliette wanted some excitement. Once again, she crossed her arms, waiting to see if the girl would do anything; or say anything for that matter.
